Our newest event at Sugarcreek will be the professional drama, The Confession.
The Confession is a captivating story of a young Amish woman who is caught in
the middle of secrets and scandal, love lost and love found, and personal
heartache and healing.
Based upon the novels written by Beverly Lewis, who USA Today hails as the
"Queen of the Genre" when it comes to Amish love stories. The story comes from
the trilogy of The Shunning, The Confession, and The Reckoning.
The music for The Confession has been written and produced in Nashville,
Tennessee, where the best of the best gather to collaborate on projects, hence
the name, Music City. The script has been written by veteran writer, Martha Bolton who is best known
for her work with Bob Hope, Mark Lowry, and Chonda Pierce. More about The Confession

The second weekend in June is always slated to be a weekend to bust out the
poodle skirts, roll up your shirt sleeves, grease back your hair and twist the
night away at Sugarcreek.
Come enjoy the 9th Annual Friday Night Cruise-In or the all-day vintage car show
on Saturday. For those runners be sure to sign-up for the Crusin 5k Run/Walk at
5:30pm. Friday night music to be provided by The Spikeman
The event is rated as one of the top 1950's-era shows in the state of Ohio. The
music makes the atmosphere and this year we will be featuring The BelAirs
(around 11:30am) and Remember When (around 3:00pm) . The food - Home Made from
local Non-profit Groups at bargain prices - continues to please the crowd and
has allowed this event to grow year-after-year.
New this year is the Model Car Contest with classes for "Kit & Homemade" so
bring some of your best entries and show the world your skills.

The Ohio Swiss Festival began in 1953 as a way to help the Ohio Swiss Cheese
Association, based in Sugarcreek, to sell its excess cheese and to celebrate the
Sugarcreek area's Swiss Heritage. Today it continues to be celebrated on the
fourth weekend after Labor Day. Friday & Saturday provide a full day of
entertainment and events, including music (polka and contemporary),
Steinstossen, Alphorn demos, Swiss cheese auction, and the Grand Parade on
Saturday afternoon.

Matthew Ward As a member of the '70's Jesus rock mainstays, "2nd Chapter of Acts", vocalist Matthew Ward helped create the sound that eventually became "CCM". After a successful solo career, Matthew was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. The Dove Award-winner has helped lead worship with 500,000 men at Promise Keepers and sung the title song for Billy Graham's Christmas Special. Ward's songs, "To The King" and "I Will Worship You" have been #1 on the Christian music charts.
