Crafted in Ohio's Amish Country in the dark plain fabrics of the Amish quilting tradition, this large wall-hanging could be used as a throw on your couch. The dark rich pallette contrasts with the handquilting in white thread. "Grandmother's Dream" pattern is similar to the "Trip Around the World" pattern with the design flipped on its side and ends in triangles. Comes with a panel on the back for hanging.

The best way to store your quilts

Most modern quilt pieces are made of cotton fabrics and batting so be sure that your quilt is absolutely clean and dry before storing your quilt. A good bag for storing an heirloom quilt is a freshly-laundered pillow case. Plastic bags, such as trash bags, are an absolute no-no for storing quilts! You will risk discoloration from the chemicals in the plastic as well moisture (or even mold) issues if the fabric can't breathe.
