The Holmes County Chapter of the American Red Cross holds a benefit auction in
June of every year at the Mt Hope Auction. The mission of the Red Cross is to
prevent and alleviate human suffering. Through the contributions of time, blood,
and money, Red Cross volunteers and employees are able to carry out the life
saving mission. Breakfast Buffet starts at 7:00 am. Bake Sale starts at 8:00 am.
Main Sale Starts at 9:00 am - lawn furniture, playground equipment,
wheelbarrows, furniture and quilts.

This reunion of antique farm machinery collectors is set in the picturesque
rolling farmland at the heart of Ohio's Amish country. Over the years the event
has grown to become Ohio's second largest gathering of working steam engines
with a wide variety of authentic demonsrtations of early farm power.
See in action all day long: steam tractors, prairie tractors and antique gas
engines. Feature demonstrations include various gas engine driven machines,
steam plowing, steam powered sawmills, steam powered shingle mill, steam
threshing and draft horse demonstrations.
