Breakfast menu choices include still-warm cinnamon rolls, fluffy buttermilk hotcakes, homemade biscuits, and golden slices of fried cornmeal mush with sausage gravy or syrup. On Saturdays (and Fridays from Memorial Day through Labor Day), guests also can enjoy a generous Country Breakfast Buffet.

Lunch and dinner feature simple, straightforward classics—chicken, country-cured ham, roast beef and turkey. Satisfying specialties include our “Manhattans”—hot sandwiches served with real mashed potatoes or homemade bread stuffing and smothered with gravy.

Lighter options include homemade soups, fresh salads, and sandwiches. The salad bar at Der Dutchman is as bountiful as a kitchen garden and as colorful as a quilt. Rows of fresh vegetables and prepared salads are constantly refilled and refreshed. Just make sure to save some room!

No country meal would be complete without dessert, especially delicious homemade pie. Der Dutchman offers almost 20 different homemade pies every day that are made and baked on the premises using traditional recipes and techniques. Order a slice at the table or take a whole pie home. Some favorite flavors are Apple, Peanut Butter Cream, Custard, Black Raspberry Cream, and Pecan.
