Q. Where is the Ohio Star Theater located?

A. The Ohio Star Theater is located in the brand-new Ohio Star Theater building at 1387 Old Route 39, Sugarcreek, Ohio. Directions

Q. How long is the Theater production?

A. Budget approximately 2 to 3 hours from start to finish for The Home Game and Confession Musicals. Shows begin promptly at 1pm or 7pm.  Evening shows last until 9:30pm and afternoon matinees last until 3:30pm. For Mennonite Girls Can Cook or Our Christmas Dinner, budget 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Concerts may run from one to 3 hours.

Q. I purchased a meal with my Theater Ticket. Where is my meal ticket valid?

A. You may use your meal ticket at Dutch Valley (next to our Theater in Sugarcreek), Der Dutchman (Walnut Creek) or Berlin Farmstead Restaurant (Berlin).

Q. What is included with my meal?

A. Tickets include either buffet or family-style meal, a beverage and tax. Gratuities are not included in your meal ticket.

Q. Do I need to wait in line at the restaurants?

A. No waiting for our Theater guests! Your meal includes Preferred Seating. Present your ticket to the host and you'll be seated at the next available table. (If your tickets are held at Will Call, you'll need to stop at the Ohio Star Theater first).

Q. How do I redeem my Meal Ticket?

A. At any of the above restaurants, present your Theater ticket to the server. He/She will redeem the meal ticket for you.

Q. Are there Concessions at the Theater?

A. Yes, the Concession stand is located on the first floor. Beverages are permitted in the auditorium, but we do not allow food.

Q. When should I plan to eat my meal?

A. Guests for our evening shows should plan to eat prior to the start of the 7pm show. We recommend eating at 2 hours or more before your show (or earlier if you must travel from Walnut Creek or Berlin). Our restaurants close at 8pm.

Q. Are tickets refundable?

A. Sorry, no. Refunds are not given for theater tickets. Tickets are transferable to another show or comparable value gift card.

Q. When do doors open at the theater?

A. Doors will open 30 minutes before show time.

Q. What is "Will Call"?

A. "Will Call" is located at the Ticket Desk at the Ohio Star Theater and will hold your tickets for you. You may pick them up the day of the show.

Q. Are my seats reserved?

A. Yes, all seats are reserved.

Q. I lost my tickets? What do I do?

A. Don't worry! Stop by our Box Office and we can reprint your tickets.

Q. Is there an intermission?

A. Yes, there is a 15 minute intermission during the show. Concessions and merchandise will be available for sale during this time.

Q. Can I book a hotel room along with my ticket (and/or meal?)

Q. Is the Theater friendly to those with Disabilities?

A. Yes! We have an elevator to reach balcony seating, as well as spaces for wheelchair seating and a variety of seating sizes. Please call our Box Office at 855-344-7547 if you have questions.

Q. Do you have transgender bathrooms?

A. A family restroom is available.

Q. Do you offer Senior Discounts?

A. Sorry, we do not offer Senior Discounts at this time.
